Bright ruby with brilliant clarity the aroma has amazing complexity which starts with bright plums and spices, backed by a complex of oak and wet tar, struck flint, cordite, high tones of cassis and Turkish bazaar. The palate starts light and fresh, earthy strawberry notes and fine tannins, grows across to pepper and spices with leather complex, rich layers of flavour continuing to clean acidity balancing out to a long finish. Leaves the mouth salivating.
